We require a vector drawing drafted in a drawing editing software., to laser cut.

We prefer you to supplies us with your requirements but you can make use of c our services, where we can create the vector files for you.

The price for this starts at R300 + vat per hour, for uncomplicated drawing.      See below  what we need from you to enable us to draft your drawings.

What we need from you

• Drawing or sketch or mock-up - Drawing lines for laser cutting

• Dimensions

• Scanned drawing / image

• Upload your file(s)

What happens next?

 

 

Setting up

• Drawing lines for laser cutting

• You’ll need to setup a 2D mock-up / drawing of the parts to indicate visually what you want to cut .

• Draw out your design - Draw all lines (in red) for everything you want to have laser cut)

 

 

Dimensions

• Drawings should include all relevant dimensions in mm. They don’t need to be be at 1:1 scale – Once they have been vectorized we can scale to the exact size requested

 

• If you need to indicate locations of holes (or other locations that you need to be precise,) please specify the distance from the middle of the hole to the nearest edge of your drawn part

 

 

Scan your drawing

•  Send a Jpg, Gif, .PDF (anything we can view) via the e-mail. If your drawings exceed the size of your scanner,please have it professionally done.

 

 

 

Sending an image

Vector tracing services to be done from an image file, ensure it is of high resolution: at least 300dpi

 

*Include relevant dimensions in mm

 

 

Upload your file(s)

Upload as many files as you require (max 500KB)

• Make sure you include all the information requested ON UP-LOAD FORM AND or via e-mail.

What happens next?

Once all relevant info received, we’ll send you a full quote for your job plus the vector tracing work .All vector drawing must be signed off

 

• Once drawing work is complete, we require you to sign it off sign off

• • Minor amendments sometimes have to made

• • If any small amendments need to be made we will carry these out

• • If the overall brief of the drawing work changes significantly at this stage further charge may be applied
•  Once signed off, will your job be placed in schedule

• Drawings are yours to keep, we’ll email them over to you once  paid in full

• We suggest to keep drawings archived for repeat jobs to avoid additional drawing costs.
